Atlanta locals can now nominate a ‘Hometown Hero’ to receive VIP experience at the TOUR Championship

Tournament celebrates Independence Day with new initiative to honor local service members and first responders

ATLANTA - The TOUR Championship is thrilled to announce the launch of its Hometown Heroes Program, a new initiative dedicated to honoring and celebrating the remarkable contributions of local service members and first responders. The program invites nominations from the Atlanta community to recognize individuals who have significantly enhanced the local community through their selfless service.

Winners will receive an exclusive VIP package featuring two tickets to the Starter Lounge presented by NetJets. This unique experience offers nominees the extraordinary opportunity to watch the PGA TOUR's elite players up close as they make the high-stakes walk through the tunnel to start the competition and watch the first hole of the FedExCup Playoffs finale from a luxury suite. Each ticket to the Starter Lounge also includes access to premium food and beverage options.

“We are excited to offer this opportunity to recognize the brave men and women who serve our community,” said Alex Urban, Executive Director of the TOUR Championship. “This program is our way of giving back to these remarkable individuals, and we can’t wait to provide them with a truly unforgettable and well-deserved experience.”

Nominations can be submitted through the TOUR Championship’s official website starting today. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2024.
